Lunar Colony is now out for members everywhere! Have you noticed that this is another one of those islands without “Island” to follow it? Like Mystery Train or Poptropolis Games. So members, get out and play that colony!
In other news, the next island may have been discovered by the PHB. Poptropica has been buying domains for all of their islands, including…. supervillainisland.com!
Poptropolis Games is now out for members only! It came out yesterday at about midday, and it isn’t as hard as other islands. There’s no real thinking in it. Poptropolis Games is just a series of mini-games.
So get ready!
The tribe I chose is the Flying Squid, what about you? All in all, the game is fun, and it comes out for everyone on June 17th.
Yay! After Poptropica Friends was released, it became so popular that the Creator’s had to turn off the profile feature. In other words: MAJOR OVERLOAD. 😀 It’s working now, though. Those strange Creators worked their magical powers. Plus, their army of monkeys helped.
Whoa! We hoped that everyone would like Poptropica Friends, but even we didn’t expect it to be this popular. The demand for all the new Friends features has been so great that it’s overloaded our servers! As a result, we’ve temporarily had to turn off some of the features to address the load.
Be assured, we’re working hard behind the scenes to bring everything back up to speed. We’ll post any updates right here.
Just in time for the week to begin, all of the Poptropica Friends features are back up and running! Sorry about that, folks. We’ve got our team of trained monkeys working to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

By the way, if anyone wants to friend me, my username is sleigh
Poptropica Friends has arrived for everybody! 😀
You can add friends you meet in multiplayer rooms, edit your profile by taking pop quizzes, and earn photos when you meet certain points on islands. You can also add friends by entering their usernames.Plus, members get an exclusive costume closet that holds up to thirty costumes.
This is a really big change, big as Monster Carnival, the new map style, the costumizer, and as big as noses would have been if it hadn’t just been an April Fool’s joke.
from the Creator’s post:The city of Poptropolis rises from the sea once every 100 years to host a tournament devoted to proving tribal supremacy. In Poptropolis Games, you’ll choose a tribe to represent, and compete in several track and field events in pursuit of the championship. It won’t be easy!
from the info page: Once every 100 years, the ancient capital of Poptropica — Poptropolis — rises from the sea to host a tournament created to prove tribal supremacy. Each of the tribes of Poptropica sends a representative to compete across a series of grueling events for a chance to become the Champion of Poptropica. Do you have what it takes to vanquish the competition and win glory for your tribe?
Sounds like it may be a little like Reality TV, but harder. Any way, there’s a bonus quest for Members!
Poptropica Members can play a bonus quest after completing the Poptropolis Games. An ancient warrior has returned to Poptropolis to reclaim the championship for himself. Prepare to battle the toughest competitor in the history of the Poptropolis Games!
is out for Members! Yay! Sorry, for those who aren’t members. Here’s the summary: A quiet seaside village has been attacked by mysterious beings that dwell nearby. You are chosen to enter the dark woods and confront the creatures. But beyond the forest’s edge lies a world of magic and danger, where the only thing more twisted than the tree trunks is the truth.
Good luck to all, and I’m off to start my adventure!
Hey guys! Remember, Twisted Thicket arrives in two days!
But that’s not what my post is about.
I’ve started a new blog with my friends that I’ll work on along with this. It’s called Just Cuz It’s Friday. You can get there by going to justcuzitsfriday.wordpress.com We post about games, art, comics, sports, funny stories, sometimes news, pictures, videos… So come on over and check it out! We haven’t posted very much yet, and there’s still much to add, but keep viewing as we begin to kick off. Thanks, and continue reading both blogs!
Yay! On Thursday, Twisted Thicket comes out for members. *non-members boo in the audience* The countdown is on at the Poptropica homepage. Here is the Twisted Thicket plot summary:
A quiet seaside village has been attacked by mysterious beings that dwell nearby. You are chosen to enter the dark woods and confront the creatures. But beyond the forest’s edge lies a world of magic and danger, where the only thing more twisted than the tree trunks is the truth.
Poptropica Members can play a bonus quest after completing Twisted Thicket. The woodland’s magical essence has scattered across the land. It’s up to you to use your newfound powers to collect the missing shards and return them to their source.
Plus, there are Members-only items:
Members get an additional Twisted Thicket gear pack, which includes Lumberjerk Costume, Troll Power, and Dryad Follower.
Also, we are also anticipating the arrival of the Friends Feature the Creators have hinted about.
Vampire’s Curse Island is out for members! It has a bonus quest! Here’s the summary:For centuries, a truce has existed between the people of a remote mountain village, and the vampire who lives in the castle high above. Now, that truce is shattered, and Count Bram has captured a young villager. Can you rescue her from his evil clutches — and avoid being struck by the vampire’s curse? Poptropica Members can play a bonus quest after completing Vampire’s Curse Island. The vampire is gone, but his curse lives on. Prepare to discover even more hidden secrets of Bram’s castle — if a dangerous vampire hunter doesn’t get there first!
And here’s the video:
This island is really awesome for members, because during the bonus quest, you turn into a vampire bat. YAY! 😀
The thing about this island, though, is that it is not so good for Count Bram’s neighbors.
PLUS- Members get their complimentary Members-only items that come with every island. Would you like fries with that? Or you could put it this way:
Members get an additional Vampire’s Curse Island gear pack, which includes Garlic Breath, Bat Gum, and Vampire Count and Countess Costumes. The Vampire Costumes are ONLY available during early access!
This island has also already been completed by the ten skilled players. Read this Creators post:

Fangs for the memories
Okay, off the subject of vampires, Poptropica has changed its map! *GASP* I know. Shocker. I like this new map layout. It’s easier to find all the islands. Read this post:
For some time now, Poptropica has had a problem. A good problem, but a problem nonetheless. The problem: too many Islands! Vampire’s Curse Island will be our 25th Island, if you can believe it. And our map was starting to look really cluttered.
First, we thought we would just have to erase some Islands. Flush ’em right down the drain. But as our fingers were hovering over the “delete” button, somebody had an idea: why not make a new map? We all agreed that was a much better solution.
Now, when you log onto Poptropica for the first time, or return to your blimp from Main Street of any Island, you’ll see this new and improved map screen!
It has a few advantages over the old one. The Island icons no longer move, so it’s easier to read their names. The newest Islands are at the very beginning, so you’ll won’t have far to look for the latest and greatest adventure. And we’ve split up the map into different pages, which makes it easier for you to sort through them.
Oh, and most important of all: the birds chase your blimp.
We hope you enjoy the new map, and that it helps makes your visit to Poptropica even more fun than before.
Happy Leap Day! There won’t be another one for 4 years.
